Séjour express à Iguazù, j'ai 1 jour et demi pour visiter la partie argentine et la partie brésilienne. Challenge accepted! 

Je suis arrivée à Puerto Iguazù (Argentine) le vendredi en fin d'après-midi. A l'auberge, je retrouve Nicodème que j'avais rencontré à Buenos Aires. Repos le vendredi soir pour être en forme le lendemain.

Samedi matin, je me suis réveillée à 7h pour aller prendre le bus de 8h pour aller au parc côté argentin avec Nicodème. Pas trop de monde à l'entrée, on a réussi à rentrer rapidement. Après une petite visite du musée explicant l'histoire du parc, on s'est dirigés vers un circuit de 3.5km (aller) dans la jungle pour se rendre à une petite cascade dans laquelle on s'est baignés un peu (au moins trempé les pieds pour ma part). On a également vu plusieurs animaux en chemin.

Ensuite on a fait le "circuit inférieur", qui permet savoir un petit aperçu d'ensemble des chutes, et de se rapprocher de très près de l'une d'entre elles. C'était très impressionnant d'être aussi près. On s'étendait à peine parler et on est ressorti trempés ! 

Le "circuit supérieur" permet de voir les chutes vues d'en-haut. Encore une fois, c'est magnifique. On a une belle vue sur la rivière toute calme d'un côté et le vide de l'autre.

On a pas pu faire le dernier circuit "la gorge du diable" car le train était déjà fermé.. Petite déception... Ça sera tout pour la partie argentine, tant pis!

Dimanche matin, comme prévu, je vais voir les chutes du côté brésilien. J'ai donc pris le bus en milieu de matinée avec Nicodème et 2 allemands rencontrés à l'auberge de jeunesse. On a pris le bus rapidement, passé la frontière argentine puis brésilienne sans aucun soucis. Une fois arrivés au parc, on a attendu une bonne demi-heure pour acheter nos tickets puis une bonne heure et demie pour pouvoir rentrer dans le parc... Si on avait su qu'ily aurait autant de monde, on serait venus plus tôt! A 13h, on était dans la navette qui dépose au début du circuit (le seul, heureusement) de 1.5km. Sachant que j'avais mon avion a prendre à 16h45, j'ai fait le tour assez rapidement. 

La vue de ce côté là est différente. On a une vue plus panoramique de l'ensemble des chutes et c'est tout aussi magnifique et bruyant. Vers 14h15, j'ai dit aurevoir aux garçons et me suis dirigée vers la sortie du circuit, en attente de la navette pour me ramener à la sortie du parc. Une averse m'est tombée dessus, jetais trempée de la tête aux pieds. Et encore une fois, il y avait beaucoup d'attente... Génial ! Pas le choix pour pas loupermon avion, j'ai demandé à passer prioritaire pour avoir la prochaine navette. Mon espagnol est pas si mal puisque ça a marché ! J'ai ensuite sauté dans un taxi pour aller à l'aéroport. Heureusement il n'y avait pas beaucoup de monde aux frontières.

Je suis arrivée tout pile à temps à l'aéroport, et j'ai juste eu le temps de me changer rapidement avant de monter dans l'avion. Quel soulagement !

Express stay in Iguazù, I have 1 day and a half to visit both the Argentine part and the Brazilian part. Challenge accepted!

I arrived in Puerto Iguazù (Argentina) on Friday in the late afternoon. At the hostel I met Nicodème whom I met in Buenos Aires. Rest on Friday night to be in shape the next day.

Saturday morning, I woke up at 7am to take the 8am bus to go to the Argentine side park with Nicodème. Not too crowded at the entrance, we managed to get in quickly. After a visit to the museum explaining the history of the park, we headed for a circuit of 3.5km (one way) in the jungle to get to a small waterfall in which we went for a swim (at least soaked feet for me). We also saw several animals on the way.

Then we did the "lower circuit", which allows to know a small overview of the falls, and to get very close to one of them. It was very impressive to be so close. We could barely hear each other and we came out wet!

The "upper circuit" allows to see the falls from above. Once again, it was amazing. We have a beautiful view of the calm river on one side and the emptiness of the other.

Unfortunately we couldn't do the last circuit "the throat of the devil" because the train to go there was already closed .. A bit of disappointment ... That's all for the Argentine part, too bad!

Sunday morning, as planned, I was going to see the falls on the Brazilian side. So I took the bus in the middle of the morning with Nicodème and 2 Germans that I met at the hostel. We took the bus quite quickly and crossed both the Argentinean and Brazilian border without any worries. Once arrived at the park, we waited at least half hour to buy our tickets and another hour and a half to get into the park ... If we had known that it would have been so busy, we would have come earlier ! At 13h, we eventually took the shuttle that drops at the beginning of the circuit (the only one, fortunately) of 1.5km. Knowing that I had my plane to take at 4:45pm, I went around quite quickly.

The view from this side is different. It's a panoramic view of all the falls but it's just as beautiful and noisy as the other side. Around 2:15pm, I said goodbye to the guys and headed towards the exit of the circuit, waiting for the shuttle to take me to the exit of the park. A shower fell on me, soaked from head to toe. And again, there was a lot of waiting for the shuttle ... great! No choice, I asked to pass in priority in order to have the next shuttle. My Spanish wasn't that bad since it worked! I then jumped into a taxi to go to the airport. Fortunately there were not many people at the borders.

I arrived just in time at the airport, and I just had time to change quickly before getting onto the plane. What a relief !
